IVSolutions is a comparison tool that can be used to support your dextrose ratio calculations. When a doctors order requires the base dextrose percentage to be adjusted, manual calculations are often performed in order to determine how much dextrose to remove and add to an IV bag. This app can assist in determining the accuracy of your calculations.
All of the above functionality is available in my free IV Dextrose app. This app packs more features. It also calculates IV drip rates, time, volume and drip factors. It also recommends IV bag sizes and estimates drip time for each bag. Thats not all! You can add reminders to your default calendar that alert you when a bag is near empty.
